1st December 2017

December has arrived and with it some very cold weather! The children are still accessing the outdoor area but with several additional layers! The children have been keen to continue to sweep the leaves out from our area and understand the importance of keeping the floor as clear as possible to reduce any chance of slipping over. In the mud kitchen we have been busy baking biscuits just like we made for our Christmas bazaar stall and we have been continuing to explore different ways to measure things. In our literacy lessons we have been continuing to blend and segment our sounds whilst sharing different stories. In our role play area we had a toy shop, but not for long as the children decided to change it into a hospital. It was lovely to see so many parents in for our open door session for the children to share their learning journeys. This coming week will see us perform our nativity play, something we are very excited about!
