This week we have been busy building our igloo, we now have several layers up and we are ready to start bringing it together to enable us to add a roof so please do keep sending in your clean 4pint milk bottles for us to use! We have been practising our Christmas play and we are ready and looking forward to sharing that with you next week. In our phonics lessons this week we have been consolidating our knowledge of the sounds we already know and we are beginning to think about the next set of sounds, w, v, j and x. In our maths lessons we reminded ourselves about all the ways we can measure things. In our literacy lessons we have been reading the story of Harvey Slumfenburger and we wrote our own modes of transport which Father Christmas might have used to deliver his final present. We have been hunting for the elf in our classroom everyday and we also have our own special book presents which we share together each day. Christmas preparations are definitely in full swing!
