The Christmas festivities are now well under way. In Acorns we have an elf called Jingle, who has been sent to us by Santa to learn how to be a better elf. We came up with lots of ideas of things he would need to do, ranging from saying please and thank you to knowing how to tidy up carefully and even how to bake biscuits for Santa. We helped Jingle learn how to bake the biscuits when we made some for the Christmas Bazaar last week. Each morning he has taken photos and stuck them in his book so we can see what he has been up to. This week we got to perform our Christmas play 'Christmas with the Aliens' firstly to the local pre-schools, Cedars and Maples and then to family members. We were so proud of all the children who did really well, they have been working really hard on the play learning the songs, actions and words so we were pleased to see all their effort pay off. On Thursday we also went to the pantomime at the theatre with the rest of the school. Hopefully all the children have had a nice restful weekend ready for our last week of the term!
