Happy Easter

posted 28 Mar 2018, 05:03 by Anna Rust
Cedars had a busy end to the Spring term. On Wednesday it was World Down Syndrome Day and we spent the morning finding out about the condition as well as learning how to communicate in different ways. We learned the sign language alphabet as well as important words and phrases such as greetings and how to say our name. The lesson was greatly enjoyed by all the children.
On Friday we walked to Church for the Easter service and this was followed by the traditional pasta hunt back at school. The children had a great time trying to collect exactly 50 grams of pasta.
Our topic after the holidays is Gods and Mortals which focuses on Ancient Greek myths.
I hope you all have a lovely Easter break and come back ready to learn on Monday 9th April.
