Homework projects, science and reading

posted 10 Jul 2018, 06:21 by H East
The homework project for this half term was due yesterday (Monday 9th July). Well done to everyone who has completed this on time, the project looks fantastic. The children are taking it in turns to present their learning to the rest of the class.

This week, Cedars have chosen what they would like to investigate in science. The only guidance they were given is that it had to link to liquids. We have decided to investigate whether some types of chocolate melt quicker than others - an appropriate choice given the weather. We may also take our learning further by designing packaging to keep chocolate solid in the summer.

We are continuing to enjoy reading George's Marvellous Medicine - we have reached the part where Grandma goes through the roof!
