The class are all enjoying our new topic- volcanoes, kicked off with a fabulous day out at the Natural History Museum (though the blue whale did steal the show. Experiencing what it would be like to feel an earthquake was especially exciting. If anyone has any good photos from the day please send them in, we would love to put them up in the classroom. News about an exciting end to our topic will be released soon!! Other activities this term will include learning all about rocks and minerals, making their own working volcanoes, sculptures, lots of poetry, gymnastics, tag rugby and we are also starting the ultimate challenge: learning the Periodic table song (check it out on You Tube).

The Christmas term was super busy as always, but a highlight was the school bazaar. The Cedars organised and ran all their own games; the room felt so festive and all the children should be very proud of their contribution to such a successful event.
