Misty Mountain Sierra

posted 15 Nov 2019, 04:12 by C Wallis
Mighty mountain peak above the morning mist, imposing and eternal, rocky outcrops at their feet.

This half term Cedars are studying the topic 'Misty Mountain Sierra'. So far we have explored the different mountains around the world and found them on a topographical map. The children now know how to identify different mountain ranges using a key, as well as know which colours show the highest mountain peaks.

This week we have started making an information booklet about four mountains that the children have chosen. Cedars are thoroughly enjoying this topic so far and are looking forward to using different mediums in art to produce images of a variety of mountain ranges they have studied.
