Roman food

This week we have researched aspects of Roman life. We have started to use our findings to make information leaflets. One of the aspects we found out about was the food they ate. This afternoon, we made Puls (similar to porridge) and a Libum (an ancient Roman cheesecake). We pretended to be slaves and wealthy people. The slaves had to cut the Libum and wash the hands of their master at regular intervals. The food had mixed reviews!
