With Christmas edging closer, this week has involved lots of Christmas play rehearsals ready to show to parents next week. Our Ofsted inspector saw snippets of the play and loved some of the children's acting, see if you can guess which bits when you see the play yourselves! In literacy this week we have been making some changes to a story we shared - Harvey Slumfenburger's Christmas Present. The children all drew their own story map last week, they then planned in some changes to Father Christmas's transport. This week they wrote their new version of the story. Every single member of the class tried really hard and their writing was fantastic, make sure you look for this during the next open door session! In science Oaks have been mixing different liquids and observing the changes. To finish the week the whole school went to the pantomime on Friday, it was brilliant and all the children had smiles on their faces throughout, it was a fantastic end to a very busy week!
