Oaks have continued their learning about dinosaurs over the past few weeks and have now created their own powerpoints, information books and created their own fossils. In maths the children have practiced their measuring skills by drawing the length of dinosaurs on the playground and they have been exploring how to tell the time on both analogue and digital clocks. Oaks have enjoyed playing fastest finger first, a game which contains lots of short questions which the children have to answer as quick as they can, this is really improving their mental maths speed. In PE they have continued their dance lessons and have also begun to explore some of the features of rounders. In Art this week the class looked at creating 3D images of their hands and after a bit of practice they got much better, definitely some artists of the future in the class! Fingers crossed the weather holds out and the class can go on their trip to the Dinosaur Park this coming week!
