In this final week of November Oaks have started to focus towards Christmas. With the nativity practices now fully underway we are quickly heading towards a very busy time of the year. This week as well as rehearsing for the nativity play the children have been consolidating their basic maths skills, making games to show their understanding of number bonds and playing lots of games involving number such as Uno. In literacy the children wrote a story about a box they found in the woods, we were very impressed with the quality of all their writing and it was great to see how much they have all progressed with their writing since September. Oaks have also been set a challenge of turning our classroom into a winter wonderland using lots of the art skills they have learnt this term. Hopefully it will all be ready for the Christmas Bazaar on Friday!
