Leavers Assembly

It was an emotional day at Bow Brickhill C of E Primary School yesterday, as we held our Leavers Assembly to say goodbye to our Year 6 pupils.

The afternoon was started off with a picnic, to which parents had been invited.  We were very pleased to see so many parents attend and we were very fortunate to have beautiful (if not too hot !) weather.

The afternoon then ended with our Leavers Assembly where the year 6 pupils read out their memories of their time at Bow Brickhill C of E Primary School.

We wish all of our Year 6 pupils the best of luck and success in their new schools.
Also, this year, we have introduced a House system, where every child is able to earn points for their house.  Our houses have been named after the Saints of Great Britain: St David, St Andrew, St Patrick and St George.

The winners of the House Points cup were St Andrew, and the cup was presented to the captains of St Andrew, Benji and Robyn.

At the same time, the house winners of Sport's Day were presented with their House Points Sports Day shield.  The winners of the House Points Sports Day shield were St David and again, this was presented to the House captains, Tom and Shivraj.
