Maples class had a very successful visit to the Globe Theatre in London this term, to watch the a performance of Macbeth.

Maple's are currently working and rehearsing hard to perform their own version of Macbeth at the Shakespeare for Schools Festival, in November.  This visit has helped to inspire them.

As part of their visit, they were able to meet Joseph Millson, the actor playing Macbeth, who had a brief question and answer session with them, before having to get ready to go on stage.  He also, very kindly, signed a copy of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" for our school library.

Maples will perform their version of Macbeth at the Stantonbury Campus Theatre on the 12th November.  Good luck to all in the cast!
