Remembrance Day

posted 15 Nov 2015, 05:13 by Deputy Head
On Wednesday 11th November the whole school walked to the local memorial in Bow Brickhill. We were joined by members of the local community to remember the service men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty. Our head girl and head boy lay a wreath on behalf of the school, whilst other school pupils read poems and the exhortation as part of the service. Everybody then observed a two minute silence to remember the lives lost before returning to school. Assemblies this week were also focused on the theme of remembrance to help all the children understand the importance of this day.
