Volcano in Bow Brickhill !

What would you do if there was an earthquake and volcanic activity in Bow Brickhill? Fortunately the children of Bow Brickhill School know what to do. On a cold night in February they collected firewood in the woods, cooked on the fire, put up tents and experienced life in the Bow Brickhill disaster zone in the most exciting sleep over ever.

The hardship of outdoor living posed few problems for the pupils of Bow as many of the children have been in training with the school Ultramarathon club. Every day they run laps of the school field and have already clocked up more than a marathon.

The children thought the disaster drill was great fun although the volcano threat was Much Ado About Nothing, (which incidentally is the play that they recently performed at the School's Shakespeare festival). What a great way to celebrate the recent good Ofsted inspection!
