The whole school today walked to the Bow Brickhill memorial to remember the people who gave their lives for us in the Great Wars. Two children from Maples read a poem, two children read the Exhortation and our Governor, Stuart Leeming read the Burma Kohima prayer. A 1 minute silence was observed by all and our Head Boy and Head Girl laid a wreath of poppies. The service was also attended by a small number of parents. |
