Willow Gazebo "quiet area"

Some of the School Governors, along with a couple of other volunteers from the school and the local community were kept busy over the half term holiday.  The group of volunteers erected the recently purchased Willow Gazebo, which will act as an area for reflection and quiet thought for the children during play times.

The grand opening took place on the March 2nd, with the whole school and two of the Governors who helped build it, in attendance.  Members of the school council gave readings from the Bible and read poetry, before our Head Girl and Head Boy had the privilege of cutting the ribbon to officially open the space.

We hope that the children will enjoy and benefit from this addition to our school playground.
