World Book Day took place on Thursday 2nd March 2017.  Schools across the country celebrated by dressing up and taking part in reading and book related activities.  Our school asked everyone to come dressed in pyjamas and to bring their favourite bedtime story with them.  The children then had the opportunity during the day, to go anywhere around the school and share their books with everyone.

A few un-named, cheeky children even managed to persuade a number of teachers to read a book that made them say things like; "boing, slurgh, sluuuuuurg" and "I'm a robot monkey".

The day was enjoyed by all who took part, although we're sure that many of the students and teachers would have liked to snuggle up and go to sleep - well they were wearing their pyjamas after all !
