A team of 4 children qualified for the MK tennis finals in May. The final event was held at MK tennis club on Tuesday 18th June. The children rose to the occasion and gave their best efforts throughout the event, despite heavy rain at times. They worked hard to maintain a positive attitude and finished in a credible 5th place.

A quote from Bertha:

"Tennis was a lot harder than last time as it was the finals. We had to play 6 games in total. When we got here, we had to practise whilst waiting for Miss Baxendale and Miss Rust to arrive. Then, we finally started our matches. Our first match was against Priory Rise. They beat us. After five more games and one rest, we had finished all of the matches. By the end of the competition, it was pouring with rain.  Unfortunately we didn’t qualify for the next stage but it was still a great experience."
